Directions to Goodnow grove. Fist of all were talking about the south suburbs of Chicago. Your starting goal from the north is I-94 south of Chicago. Just south of I-80, I- 94 continues south ( rather than east) in it's own branch called I-394. You want to end up taking this south. Take this 13.8 miles south to where 394 runs abruptly into I-1 at a four way stop. This 4 way stop has the largest stop sighs I've ever seen. At this intersection going north is 394, going south or west is I1, and going east ( left) is a street named Goodenow. Were making a left ( east ) on to Goodenow. Follow this narrow and hilly road for 1.2 miles. Make a left ( north) onto Dutton. ( there is a big sign for the camp here). Take Dutton for .5 miles till it comes to a T intersection. The left fork is the camp entrance.
